Educated from the Institute of Allied Medical Professions, New York, NY in 1996-1997, Alla has her Medical Doctor Degree in Neonatology and Neuroradiology from Dushanbe University Medical School, Tajikistan, Dushanbe, (former U.S.S.R.), from 1980-1986.
She has over 7 years of experience with the largest and fastest growing providers of Health Care Imaging Products (HIP) and has hands-on experience in working with Hitachi Medical Systems such as Hitachi 5000, Hitachi 7000, Aires and Aires II and training users on all MRI diagnostic radiology machines. Dr. Sid Prakash is a board-certified attending radiologist who previously served as Chairman of Radiology and Co-Chief Information Officer at North General Hospital in Manhattan, an affiliate of Mount Sinai Hospital. He is a diagnostic radiologist and entrepreneur based in New York City.
Dr. Prakash is the medical director and owner of several successful medical practices, including AMDS Radiology. AMDS is one of the most successful outpatient imaging centers in Staten Island. Another practice he is associated with is Specialized Imaging Doctor, a cutting-edge teleradiology practice that has served over 20 imaging centers in New York and neighboring states.
With his leadership experience in both hospitals and private practice settings, Dr. Prakash focused on building relationships with medical specialists to advance the quality and availability of imaging services.
Dr. Prakash is a member of the American Board of Radiology and New York State Medical Society. He completed his education at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, University of Missouri-Columbia (Doctor of Medicine), Washington University in St. Louis (Bachelor of Science).
Dr. Prakash received the Columbia School of Medicine Scholarship from the University of Missouri in 1998, Research Fellowship in Biology from Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 1997 and Shirley Jean Ansehl Scholarship from Washington University in 1994.
